Calling All Kids: Celebrate Presidents Day with Presidents Challenge

Electric Funstuff today introduces Presidents Challenge 1.1, their new game title for iPad. Designed with upper elementary and middle school aged kids in mind, Presidents Challenge is a simple app with a singular focus: to teach the names and order of America's 44 presidents. Kids will learn basic facts about each president, such as when they lived, when they held office, the First Lady's name, and a memorable quote. Then the challenge kicks in during a series of timed mini-games.

New York, New York - Who was America's 17th president? Which president served after William H. Taft? Who said "Man cannot live by bread alone; he must have peanut butter"? Today kids ages 8 to 88 can learn these facts and more with Presidents Challenge, a new iPad app from Electric Funstuff.

Designed with upper elementary and middle school aged kids in mind, Presidents Challenge is a simple app with a singular focus: to teach the names and order of America's 44 presidents. First, kids learn basic facts about each president, such as when they lived, when they held office, the First Lady's name, and a memorable quote. Then the challenge kicks in during a series of timed mini-games that involve putting the presidents from a certain era in order. Each era features its own musical score using instruments from the time, including a player piano from the Turn of the Century.

Kids this age love trivia and trying to beat their best time - and before long they'll know their Jacksons from their Jeffersons.
